It is a new month and one that signifies the end of summer. Children are back in school and families usually settling into a routine that encompasses the next 9 months other than a break for the end-of-the-year holidays. Movement of milk to bottling is at its peak with all schools back in session. Heavier milk volumes are being pulled from the Midwest until regular channels will be established and the pipeline is filled sufficiently and it can settle to maintaining supply.
