Recent hot weather has been taking a toll on milk production in California and is now affecting production in much of the nation. The overall impact of this may be minimal as the end result, but nevertheless provides support at a time when there is greater demand for milk from both bottling and cheese production. It certainly is positive to price outlook when looking at Monday's gains. However, closing prices are no better than they were a week ago.
