Milk prices seem destined to follow the direction of corn price. Yes, corn price made a retracement a few days on dry weather, but it is doubtful it will hold. Corn varieties have improved drought tolerance and it may again prove itself just as it did last year when yields were expected to decline further. Of course milk prices can stay higher if corn price moves lower as it has done in some years, but current milk production and inventory does not give much hope of a sustained price rally.
