Class III milk futures strained under selling pressure sparked by the price rally Tuesday that sent front-month contracts to one-month highs. Losses were limited to 13 cents (in the September contract) as strong global prices on Tuesday’s GDT auction seemed to keep some sort of bottom. Front-month August declined 9 cents to $17.99, which leaves the price holding 78 cents premium to the current cash prices.
