August, September, and October milk futures moved to $19.00 and above early in the week only to reach resistance as block cheese price fell. The end of the week leaves no contracts over $19.00. Milk production has remained steady overall this week. Milk receipts are steady with extra milk moving easily to manufacturing. Milk supply is not short, but neither is there an oversupply. Fluid milk sales during the month of April were 1.1 percent higher than last year. Total conventional sales increased 0.6 percent.
