Milk

Milk production in much of the country is steady, or in the case of the Northeast, exceptionally strong. However, production in the West is slowing as weather becomes hotter. In fact, the Central Valley of California is expected to see some record or near-record temperatures for this time of year over the weekend. This is unusually early and is expected to reduce milk output. Of course, temperatures at night will be key to the magnitude of the effect of the hot weather.
