Manufacturing capacity is sufficient to handle holiday milk. Milk supply is historically heavy during this time of year with prices discounted in order to find willing buyers. However, this year should not require this since manufacturing capacity is sufficient with plants willing to take on the extra milk. The longer-term ramification of this is more dairy product supplies later this year. Demand will need to increase significantly to keep ending stocks from finishing the year higher than last year.
