Milk

Milk production is somewhat steady with the seasonal peak having been or nearly reached. Weather has been good overall with cows responding through strong milk production. Manufacturing milk supply has been increasing as schools have been closing with heavier volumes expected over the Memorial Day weekend. Better weather has allowed planting progress to increase substantially, minimizing the immediate concern over a significant decline of crop potential. Some areas continue to struggle with planting and will experience switching maturities or crops. Florida sent more loads out of the state than last week due to more schools closing for the summer. ...
