September milk futures contracts closed above $19.00 again with Wednesday's buying interest. Most other contracts got a boost as traders took profits on short futures positions from the past two weeks. Most universities and colleges have finished for the year, decreasing fluid milk demand to some extent. This has not been the reason for falling Class III futures. Other issues have put pressure on futures contracts. Buyers of cheese and butter have been less aggressive, resulting in lower spot prices.
