Florida continues to move milk out of the state, but not at the level of last year. There were 70 loads sent out this week compared to 200 loads a year ago. Weather has been different this year with hotter weather affecting cows more than it did last year. USDA's Dairy Market News publication indicates an increase in milk production in the Northeast region of the country. Weather is improving cow comfort, resulting in cows responding with improved milk output. Some manufacturers in the area indicate they are nearing production capacity with increasing milk receipts expected as spring continues. ...
