Spring flush is in varying stages of volume. Southern states indicate the peak is past with hot weather affecting output. Western states are increasing production while the Central and Northeastern regions of the country are somewhat stable this week. March milk production declined 0.1% compared to last year in the top 23 states. U.S. milk production declined 0.3%. Tight and expensive feed supply is having a large part in lower production.
