There are fewer loads of excess milk moving around looking for a home. Higher cheese and butter prices are increasing the desire to hold onto extra milk from higher milk receipts. Extra milk that is available to the market is not having difficulty finding a willing buyer. There is caution developing as cash cheese and butter prices continue to increase. There is some disbelief that higher prices will continue or will be maintained. Milk supply is not deficit with supply available to those who want it and need it.
