Milk receipts in the Central region of the country continue to surpass expectations and continue to increase on a weekly basis. On a regional basis, milk production in December increased 4.2% over last year in the Central region. Spot milk continues to be offered for as much as $3 below the market in order to entice buyer interest. Milk plants in the Western region of the country indicate receipts are lower than last year.
