USDA released the World Agricultural Supply and Demand report Friday, which showed some interesting things. Corn production for the 2012-13 crop year was raised to 10.780 billion bushels, an increase of 55 million bushels. Soybean production was raised to 3.014 billion bushels, up 43 million bushels from last month. This is the final report of crop production. The surprise was the reduction in corn ending stocks by 45 million bushels to a carryover of 602 million bushels. This reduction was the result of exceptionally strong usage.
