Milk

Milk supply remains burdensome with manufacturing capacity being stretched to the limit. Unloading delays continue and in some cases are increasing. It should not be too long before bottlers step back in to replenish school pipelines. Then large discounted prices of milk will disappear as a bit of normal resumes. Class III milk futures did post gains for the week through April as futures adjusted to a better barrel cheese price. Trading in dairy is expected to be very light on Monday with markets open until noon Central Time.
