Class III futures for January through March have eliminated the gains over the past two days that had been built over the past few weeks. Continued weakness in cheese and butter has taken its toll on potential milk prices for next year. It will take a significant tightening of the market in order bring bullishness back into the trading pit. There is a sense milk supply both domestically and globally will tighten in time, but it is unclear as to how long it will be before it may impact the market.
