Midday Market Update:

Traders waited for cheese market direction from spot trading, but saw none. Block remained at $2.40 with barrels at $2.30 1/2. Buyers and sellers stayed away, showing no interest. It is possible no one wanted to show their hand, resulting in a stand-off. There was no trading activity in butter, leaving price at $1.90, but a bid was posted a penny lower.
