SOYBEAN MEAL: $8.30 Lower
LIVE CATTLE: $0.17 Lower
DOW JONES: 41 Points Higher
NASDAQ: 16 Points Higher
CRUDE OIL: $0.74 Lower

Midday Market Update:

No effort was made to keep the block/barrel spread closer to finish the year. The effort made last week was in vain as the closing of spot trading for the year resulted in a wide spread of 15 cents. Block price remained unchanged at $2.00 while barrel price fell to $1.85, down 6 cents. There were 2 loads of barrels traded with no bids or offers remaining. Butter price increased ...
