Midday Market Update:

Class III futures prices are on a roll with higher prices again Thursday. Increasing cheese prices caused more short-covering, which is dominating trade. January through April contracts post double-digit gains, pushing January near $19.50. Cheese supplies are being held tightly with handlers and plants filling needs, but not sensing the urgency to move product.
