LIVE CATTLE: $0.12 Lower
DOW JONES: 54 Points Higher
NASDAQ: 35 Points Higher
CRUDE OIL: $0.77 Lower

Midday Market Update:

Block price fell 4 3/4 cents to close spot trading at $1.70 3/4 with one load traded. Barrels fell 3 1/2 cents to close at $1.70 on an uncovered offer. This confirms and extends the weakness seen Monday in cash and continues the downtrend in futures contracts. The most active September contract has fallen 64 cents since the close Friday.
