DTN Before The Bell-Livestock

Mixed trade is developing across the livestock market early Friday as traders' main focus appears to be on end-of-week position taking. The aggressive triple-digit gains in the cattle market Thursday are leaving plenty of room for early morning profit taking. But the lack of significant pressure in both live cattle and feeder cattle markets could give way to renewed buyer support through midday. Corn futures are trading lower in early electronic trade. Stock markets are trading higher in light trade. Dow Jones is trading 32 points higher while Nasdaq is 9 points higher.
