GENERAL COMMENTS

Firm buyer support is trickling into the complex early Wednesday with most eyes on the moderate gains in the lean hog complex. Even though supplies are tight and cash hog values remain strong, the market seems to have seen some additional stability which could provide longer-term support. Corn futures are trading lower in early electronic trade. Stock markets are trading higher in light trade: Dow Jones is 12 points higher while Nasdaq is 8 points higher.
