GENERAL COMMENTS

Livestock futures are expected to hold light to moderate buyer support. Lean hog futures contracts are the market to watch at this point with still aggressive support seen in the cash hog and pork markets expected to lead to additional strong price support in the futures complex. Traders may look for additional direction from outside markets as the session continues. Corn futures are trading lower in early electronic trade. Stock markets are trading mixed, with Dow Jones posting a 46 point lower, while Nasdaq is up 2 points.
