GENERAL COMMENTS

Livestock futures are called to open mixed to mostly lower, although narrow losses in cattle markets are focusing on potential meat value direction. Trader should remain sluggish in all nearby contracts which could draw additional interest back into the market late in the day. Corn futures are trading lower in early electronic trade. Stock markets are trading higher, with Dow Jones posting 55 points higher, while Nasdaq is up 14 points.
