Live cattle futures have found light but firm support early Friday as follow-through buyer interest is pointing to a higher open. Trade through the lean hog futures is expected to remain sluggish, and once again turn to a bearish price direction as traders remain concerned about weak fundamentals. Corn futures are trading higher in early electronic trade. Stock markets are trading higher, with Dow Jones posting 68 point gains, while Nasdaq is up 20 points.
