GENERAL COMMENTS:

Pressure in lean hog futures is once again casting a weaker tone through the entire livestock market. Traders are looking for additional direction from outside markets as well as potential pre-holiday shifts in pork and beef values. Corn futures are trading higher in early electronic trade. Stock markets are trading lower, with Dow Jones posting a 32-point loss, while Nasdaq is down 7 points.
