GENERAL COMMENTS:

Moderate pressure developing in lean hog futures early Tuesday is creating a weaker tone through the overall complex. Traders are quickly backing away from gains which developed early in the week in nearby lean hog futures contracts. Live cattle futures are lower in a narrow range as traders look for additional outside market direction. Corn futures are trading lower in early electronic trade. Stock markets are trading higher, with Dow Jones posting a 32 point loss, while Nasdaq is down 7 points.
