GENERAL COMMENTS:

Light trade is expected to slowly enter the livestock futures market. But overall volume is expected to remain sluggish with traders looking for direction from both outside markets and developing meat values before jumping aggressively into the market during the week. Corn futures are trading higher in early electronic trade. Stock markets are trading higher, with Dow Jones posting a 9 point gain, while Nasdaq is up 15 points.
