GENERAL COMMENTS:

Livestock futures are expected to open slightly to moderately higher with light early month buyer support helping to sustain the market activity. There is still a lot of uncertainty about follow-through buyer interest in the market. This could leave most contracts lightly traded during mid to late morning. Cattle and hog futures are likely to be impacted by the direction of beef and pork values in the morning reports.
