GENERAL COMMENTS:

Livestock futures are expected mixed early Monday. Trade volume may remain sluggish through most of the week as some traders may be willing to leave the market early in an attempt for an early start of the holiday weekend. Direction of meat values is likely to be a significant focus of both hog and cattle markets during early-week trade. Corn futures are trading higher in light trade early Monday. Stock markets are mixed in early trade.
