GENERAL COMMENTS:

Livestock futures are mixed early Thursday as traders take mixed approaches to react to the sharp losses seen Wednesday. There is still uncertainty about how much additional market shifts will be seen before the end of the month and how cash cattle moves will play into futures activity. Corn futures are trading higher in early trade. The stock market is trading higher. The Dow Jones Index is 5 points higher while Nasdaq is up 7 points.
