GENERAL COMMENTS:

Livestock futures are showing additional strong support through the market Friday morning. Aggressive gains are developing in both lean hog and live cattle futures just before opening bell. Focus on strong cash cattle prices and rising beef values have gained buyer support from both commercial and noncommercial sides at the end of the week. Corn futures are trading mixed in early trade. The stock market is trading higher. The Dow Jones Index is 20 points higher while Nasdaq is up 25 points.
