GENERAL COMMENTS:

Livestock futures are trading mixed early Wednesday with follow-through buying slowly developing in cattle futures. Lean hog futures are showing some pressure as nearby contracts have seen traders make corrections following the aggressive Tuesday rally. The focus on still weak cash hog values is limiting follow-through support. Corn futures are trading higher in early trade. The stock market is trading lower. The Dow Jones Index is 76 points lower while Nasdaq is down 34 points.
