GENERAL COMMENTS:

Livestock futures are trading mixed to moderately higher ahead of opening bell. With government agencies back to work, many traders are looking for regaining some of the information that was unavailable during the furlough. Although there remains uncertainty about how available back data will be, current market information will be a breath of fresh air for market watchers. Corn futures are trading higher in early trade. The stock market is trading lower. The Dow Jones Index is 84 points lower while Nasdaq is down 7 points.
