GENERAL COMMENTS:

Light trade is seen through overnight activity, and this sluggishness is expected through most of the morning. Lack of cash and meat value information traditionally delivered and collected by USDA is unavailable and leaving both traders and cash market participants with even less information available than usual. This could keep trade limited and in a tight range. Corn futures are trading lower in early trade. The stock market is trading lower. The Dow Jones Index is 101 points lower while Nasdaq is down 17 points.
