GENERAL COMMENTS:

Livestock futures are called to open mixed with moderate support redeveloping in live cattle futures. Midweek gains in lean hog futures are being eroded in overnight trade. This is expected to keep lean hog futures under pressure through most of the morning. Corn futures are trading higher in early trade. The stock market is trading mixed. The Dow Jones Index is 8 points lower while Nasdaq is up 4 points.
