GENERAL COMMENTS:

Cattle futures are starting out under pressure Friday morning with moderate to strong losses developing across the feeder cattle complex. Focus on renewed support in grain prices and lack of beef market gains is keeping many traders focused on taking protection in front of the weekend. Lean hog futures are mixed to mostly higher, but may be limited by pressure through the rest of the complex. Corn futures are trading higher in early trade. The stock market is trading higher. The Dow Jones Index is 47 points higher while Nasdaq is up 12 points.
