DTN Before The Bell-Livestock

Livestock futures are mostly lower early Thursday morning. Trade in the electronic markets has been extremely light, which could spark additional movement through the morning. But both cattle and hog traders appear to be focused both on meat value direction later in the day, and any shift in outside commodity and financial markets. Corn futures are trading lower in early trade. The stock market is trading higher. The Dow Jones Index is 26 points higher while Nasdaq is up 26 points.
