GENERAL COMMENTS:

Mixed trade in both the live cattle and lean hog futures is expected to be seen around opening bell of pit trade. The lack of direction by commercial traders and focus on outside commodity markets will likely keep prices in a narrow range through much of the morning. Corn futures are trading lower in early trade. The stock market is trading mixed. The Dow Jones Index is 2 points lower while Nasdaq is up 10 points.
