GENERAL COMMENTS:

Livestock futures are called mixed in light early trade Monday. Firm follow-through buyer support in the live cattle markets could help to draw additional buyer interest back into the rest of the complex. But trade volume will likely to remain light and could quickly shift the direction of the market through the first hour of trade activity. Corn futures are trading higher in early trade. The stock market is trading higher. The Dow Jones Index is 3 points higher while Nasdaq is up 2 points.
