GENERAL COMMENTS:

Livestock futures are expected to open under pressure. The lack of support at the end of the week in lean hog futures could leave traders uncertain of future price direction. Traders in the cattle complex are focusing on the end-of-week losses last week and bearish cattle placement numbers in the cattle on feed reprot. Corn futures are trading mixed in early trade. The stock market is trading lower. Dow Jones is 41 points lower, and Nasdaq is down 10 points.
