GENERAL COMMENTS:

Livestock futures are mixed in light morning trade. The renewed support in the lean hog futures market is being curbed by uncertainty in the cash beef markets. The upcoming cattle on feed report also has traders remaining cautious early Friday. Corn futures are trading lower in early trade. The stock market is trading higher. Dow Jones is 41 points higher, and Nasdaq is up 10 points.
