GENERAL COMMENTS:

Livestock futures are called to open mixed in a very narrow range Thursday. Traders are focusing on the lack of active movement in outside markets and the potential for meat values to further direct trader interest across the livestock markets. Corn futures are trading higher in early trade. The stock market is trading higher. Dow Jones index is holding a 23 point gain while Nasdaq is up 3 points.
