GENERAL COMMENTS:

Livestock futures are expected to open mixed to moderately lower at opening bell. Pressure in the lean hog futures is seen Wednesday as traders appear to be taking profits following the earlier market rally. Firmness in cash hog prices could still allow for the market to show additional support before the end of the week. Cattle futures remain soft based on uncertainty about cash values. Corn futures are trading lower in early electronic trade. Stock markets are lower in light trade.
