GENERAL COMMENTS:

Livestock futures are expected to open mixed to mostly lower following the bounce higher in prices seen Thursday. The follow-through buyer support seen in the lean hog futures market is expected to be countered with end-of-week positioning in the cattle complex. The upcoming afternoon cattle on feed report may spark additional market movement, but projections have been traded into the market through the week. Corn futures are trading lower in early electronic trade. Stock markets are higher in light trade.
