GENERAL COMMENTS:

Following moderate to sharp losses in the cattle complex Tuesday, additional follow through pressure has quickly developed as traders do not expect a change in direction, at least through the Wednesday trading session. Additional uncertainty remains focused on the lack of ability to sustain steady cash hog or cattle price levels. Corn futures are trading lower in early electronic trade. Stock markets are trading higher, with Dow Jones posting 2 points higher, while Nasdaq is up 6 points.
