GENERAL COMMENTS:

Livestock futures are called mixed early Tuesday as combined follow-through pressure will be mixed with light early-week buying interest developing. The cattle market may continue to refocus on just how the plant closure will affect the overall movement of cattle, but will likely focus more on the direction of outside markets through morning trade. Corn futures are trading higher in early electronic trade. Stock markets are trading lower, with Dow Jones posting a 14-point loss, while Nasdaq is down 6 points.
