GENERAL COMMENTS:

Trade through the livestock market is expected to remain extremely light through the morning as many traders have already done what they needed to before the end of the year. The lack of outside market direction could allow for very sluggish movement through most of the morning. Corn futures are trading lower in early electronic trade. Stock markets are trading lower, with Dow Jones posting a 85 point loss, while Nasdaq is down 16 points.
