OMAHA (DTN) -- Live cattle futures continue to struggle as the morning continues as initial buyer interest has totally disappeared. Front-month December live cattle futures are leading the market lower at midday with a 55 cent-per-cwt loss. There is uncertainty that beef values can bounce significantly higher early in the week even though overall cattle numbers are expected to remain tight. Lean hog futures are mixed in a very narrow range. This could leave very little direction developing at the end of the session.
