OMAHA (DTN) -- Aggressive gains are holding in lean hog futures at midday. This support is driven by commercial and noncommercial buyer interest quickly moving into the market based on spillover support from cattle markets. Live cattle markets remain mixed as boxed beef values were unable to post sharp gains at midday. Any support in nearby live cattle contracts is losing steam as traders remain cautious about the long-term market direction.
